Wow.
It's the first time I read the questions for my Latin exam. I wanted to do it in the morning, but I was busy with one of my pupils. Then I was desperately inventing various reasons for doing something else. I slept. I ate. And here we go! At 8 p.m. I finally got down to work. Victory was near, but I was seized by an impulse to watch some Charlie McDonnell's videos.
1 a.m. And here I am at last.
These questions aren't very nice. And, of course, I should also prepare texts and vocabulary.
Are they kidding?! I can hardly imagine how one Roman can meet another and say that.

In fact, I was supposed to study Latin properly during the whole year. Well, I tried to manage with it in the first semester. I think I didn't really succeed, cause I felt too frightened of our teacher. This old lady with a haircut á la Jeanne d'Arc writes satiric poems (the government, the university and all the bachelors in the world are her favourite topics), tells her students Persian jokes and reacts to usual expression on your face in an extremely strange way.
In this semester we have another teacher, who is too kind and too indifferent to us. Such a lovely woman.
How on Earth people enjoy learning this language? I want another cup of tea, I can't stand it.

Как друида ни корми, он все равно в лес смотрит.
I adore Latin, it helps me a lot. I had even to refresh it in the 4th year when we had Old French and History of the French Language. Moreover I was asked to train two girls for an exam and it was indispensable during Roman Law studies. Now iti's very useful in legal French and English and in International Law. I think, it is a must for every linguist and represents a basic element of good education in the Arts (litterae humaniores), giving us a kind of introduction to the european culture and values.
So I'm very glad that we have a year-long Latin course at our Uni and good and skilled professors, i.e. we had Tulubeeva during 2 semesters. Who is yours?)

I can't deny it. Well, "Latin is useful" was my motto during this year.
I realize, that I am extremely childish sometimes, but this particular language is lost for me, though I adore French and Italian.

Have you ever heard about Анциферова?)
She was our professor in the first semester. Then we had some lessons with Голикова and Светилова. And finally we had Искандерян.
